ERC Rules

1. Appropriate dress must be worn, hard hats must comply with current BRC standards.
2. Hats must be worn at ALL times when mounted.
3. British Dressage rules apply for ERC dressage shows.
4. The Judge’s decision is final.
5. The organisers and landowners accept no responsibility for any accident, damage, injury or illness to horses, ponies, riders, grooms, spectators or any other person or property whatsoever.
6. The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry, cancel a class, withhold a prize or disqualify a competitor for any reason they deem necessary.
7. Withdrawals: A refund (less £5 admin fee) will be made if your intention to withdraw is received no later than the Thursday before the show and your place can be filled by another competitor. If your place cannot be filled no refund will be given.
8. Horses or ponies must not be left tied to lorries or trailers and left unattended.
9. Please make sure all droppings and rubbish are removed before leaving.
10. Horses must be 4 years old and over.
11. No lungeing.
12. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on leads at all times and you are responsible for cleaning up after them.
13. All children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
14. Whips and callers ARE permitted.
15. Failure to adhere to these rules may result in you being asked to leave the event.
